Lead P4C supports the effective leadership and management of Philosophy for Children and Communities (P4C) in schools, departments, and alternative provisions.

Who is this course for?

Lead P4C develops delegates’ ability to effectively lead and manage P4C in schools. It is designed for P4C Leaders – and other Subject Leaders with an interest in P4C – as well as Senior Leadership, Head Teachers, Trainers and Consultants.

Anyone who regards themselves as a P4C leader can take this course, but it will make most sense to those who have already done or are in the process of doing their Level One training.

What are the course aims?

Lead P4C will enable you to articulate a persuasive vision for P4C in your school; develop a clear strategy for introducing and sustaining good practice over time; explore how to lead successful change and to be more effective as a P4C leader and how to make good use of tools such as the SAPERE Award Schema.
