On Tuesday we announced a brand new way to get your first taste of philosophical enquiry: Experience P4C. It’s a stand-alone webinar where you’ll take part in what might be your first philosophical enquiry, and if you’re inspired to do more, you can even convert this first experience into your first step on the new SAPERE P4C training pathway, launching spring 2024.

Philosophy for all!

At home, school, work, wherever you are, philosophy is for everyone. Especially today! Read the special World Philosophy Day blog by Emma Swinn, featuring a brand new resource by Grace Lockrobin on decision-making and AI. This post is written, and the accompanying resource is designed, for people who may be new to “Philosophy for Children, Colleges, or Communities”, but there’s also something in there for even the most seasoned philosophical facilitator, because it also grapples with some philosophical questions that arise anew in the context of the extraordinary rise of ‘artificially intelligent’ apps, website and machines.

Step into the future

Last but by no means least, on Saturday we are holding our conference on “The Future of Philosophical Education”. Obviously it’s a topic close to our hearts and central to our mission — and that seems to go for many of you, too, based on the extraordinary number of teachers, researchers, trainers and other practitioners who responded to the call for submissions earlier in the year.

We have a packed programme, and if you’ve somehow missed all this up to now there’s a handful of in-person tickets left, or you can join us online.
