The carefully curated and regularly updated collection includes over 500 resources, suitable for a wide range of ages and subject areas.
A selection is freely available to all, while subscribers gain full access to the complete library, along with the ability to save favourites, receive personalised recommendations, and easily share resources with colleagues. By subscribing, you also support our charitable work and help sustain high-quality philosophical enquiry in education.
Thoughtful P4C Resources are presented in partnership with The Philosophy Man, authors of hundreds of materials on the site and hosts of our Embed P4C Programme.
Many of these resources were previously hosted on P4C.com, originally established as a co-operative committed to self-sufficiency, independence, and collaboration. In 2024, the site was generously donated to Thoughtful enabling us to continue the cooperative’s work.
Subscriptions now help maintain and develop the platform, fund editorial work, and ensure contributors are fairly recognised. We are grateful to Steve Williams, Kay Williams, Roger Sutcliffe, Jason Buckley and James Nottingham for establishing and stewarding P4C.com, and for their generous donation to Thoughtful.

All authors are experts and experienced practitioners from around the world. Submissions remain the intellectual property of their authors and authors receive an annual license fee for permitting the use of their material (unless they choose to donate it to Thoughtful).
All submissions are peer reviewed and only those that meet our editorial principles are accepted.
