Aimee George
Aimee is the beating heart of our organisation - as our Operations Co-Ordinator, she handles a variety administration tasks that ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the charity and all our events and courses.
Aimee had a 9-year career break raising three girls and recently returned to working within a Merchandising/Buying department in the retail industry. After discovering the role no longer suited her, she sought a role with more meaningful purpose for her, and she found it in supporting the advancement of Philosophy for Children.
Aimee brings with her a wealth of systems knowledge, including CRM/database management.
Aimee believes that problem detection and resolution skills are not only a fundamental part of operations but are also the building blocks of an efficient and successful organisation.
In addition to being the Operations Coordinator for SAPERE, Aimee volunteers as the Treasurer for a school PTA. She helps fundraise to enable the school to buy various equipment to enhance the children’s education. Most recently, funds have been raised to buy a storage shed to facilitate the OPAL (Outdoor Play And Learning) scheme
