Chris is one of two Thoughtful trainers who also serve as trustees, although she has recently retired as a trainer, she remains on the Board as a trusted member of the training team.

Chris is one of two Thoughtful trainers who also serve as trustees (although she has recently retired as a trainer). She worked in primary education for over 30 years, including for many years as a special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO) and for ten years as a consultant primary teacher for gifted and talented education. During this time she designed and managed Rotherham’s Key Stage One Enrichment Cluster for children identified as dually exceptional. She also organised Rotherham’s Maths Master Class programme and delivered training and support for P4C in all Rotherham primary schools.
Since accepting voluntary redundancy in 2010, Chris continued working as a Level 1 trainer. She has also been a Parent Governor, Vice-Chair of Governors and President of Sheffield Swimming Association. She has been a trustee of since March 2021.
