Daniel Stone

Daniel founded The Philosophers’ Yard in 2022, a Birmingham-based charity that creates welcoming spaces for people to explore life’s biggest questions through conversation, reflection and dialogue. Through events, partnerships and community engagement, Daniel has helped bring philosophy beyond academic settings and into everyday public life. Alongside his charitable work, Daniel is Strategic Lead for Integrated Settlement Delivery at the West Midlands Combined Authority, the Chair of Governors at a Birmingham secondary school and previously led civic engagement initiatives at the University of Birmingham.
