Dr Simon Uttley occupies the space between educational practice and extensive research. A serving Headteacher with twenty years’ experience in the English State secondary sector, Simon is also full Adjunct Professor of Education at the University of Notre Dame, (U.S.A.), London and Honorary Professor of Education at St Mary’s University, Twickenham.
Simon is the Director and founder of Koin-Ed, a research, consultancy and coaching company based on values-driven practice.
A philosopher by passion, Simon relishes making philosophy accessible, without degradation of challenge, and includes Martin Heidegger and Thomas Aquinas among his areas of interest.
