Rosie Wilson
Rosie is a Trainer Trustee at Thoughtful, bringing trainer perspectives to discussions while acting in the best interests of the charity. She has practised P4C with learning communities for 15 years and been a Thoughtful trainer since 2015.
Rosie supports schools to embed P4C over time, and has been involved in national P4C projects in both England and Wales, as well as specialist projects such as P4C and Equalities, and P4C in the Heritage Sector. She also facilitates Extend modules, including Challenging Issues, and is a facilitator of the Innovate P4C Course Thinking with Nature.
As trainer and trustee, Rosie recently co-led a project looking at P4C and Racism where trainers and staff enquired and learned together, critically examining our practice and its Western roots.
Rosie is Creative Director of Lifeworlds, a CIC, and works as a creative practitioner. She is also an active English teacher in a secondary school and has eight years primary teaching experience, with many more supporting schools as a trainer. She believes that regular classroom teaching in addition to supporting other teachers informs her practice and helps her develop her thinking on educational change.
Rosie enjoys culture, art, stories and nature, and reflecting on the philosophical prompts that arise from engaging in these, with family and friends as well as in a more structured way through community P4C.
